Middle School
Riverwatch Middle
- 6th grade (On-level): A class where students explore fundamental math concepts like arithmetic operations, fractions, decimals, ratios, and basic geometry.
- 6th grade (Advanced): A class that provides a more in-depth understanding of 6th-grade math concepts and introduces some 7th-grade topics like more complex ratios and pre-algebra.
- 6th grade (Accelerated): An intensive class that covers 6th and 7th-grade math topics at a faster pace, paving the way to algebra and geometry.
- 7th grade (On-level): A course focusing on pre-algebra topics, such as operations with integers, solving equations, and basic statistics.
- 7th grade (Advanced): A class that covers 7th-grade pre-algebra in more depth and introduces early 8th-grade topics like more complex equations and the basics of geometry.
- 7th grade (Accelerated): An accelerated course that covers 7th and 8th-grade topics, including advanced pre-algebra, early algebra, and introductory geometry concepts.
- 8th grade (On-level): A math class that introduces algebraic concepts and the foundational principles of geometry.
- 8th grade (Advanced): An advanced math course that covers more complex algebraic concepts.
- 8th grade (Accelerated): An accelerated math class that covers Algebra 1 and the first half of Geometry, introducing students to algebraic concepts, foundational principles of geometry, and an introduction to trigonometry.
